He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet; his children, Kimberly Hamilton (James), Michael Kosik (Misty) and Amy Beggs (Chris); his grandchildren, Stacey Burch, Stephanie Hamilton, Jacob Witt, Kyle Witt, Brittany Matyas (Rich), Michael Kosik (Emily), Paige Beggs and Connor Beggs; his great grandchildren, Bryan Burch, Cayden Witt, Richie Matyas and William Kosik; and his sibling Lynn Sommer (David).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Marian Village (15624 Marian Dr, Homer Glen, IL 60491).
