He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Judith; his children, Andrew Schwartz (Pamela) and Paula McKernan (Marc); his grandchildren, Daniel, Jenna Schwartz, Thomas and Jonelle McKernan; and his parents, Anne Schwartz and Harold Schwartz.
