With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Ann Gelfeld (Northbrook, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara left this world on October 19, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Neumann and Werner Neumann; and her brother Howard Neumann. She is survived by: her husband Mark Gelfeld; her children, Adam Gelfeld (Leatte) and Dana Hall (Jared); her grandchildren, Sammie, Jordan Gelfeld, Aaron and Zack Hall; her sibling-in-law Deedee Hahn (Steve); and her sibling's children, Lisa, Seth, Michael Neumann, Chad Hahn and Kylie Hirko.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Congregation Beth Shalom (3433 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 7:30 PM and at 9:00 PM at the Westlawn Cemetery (7801 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL 60706).
