He was predeceased by: his spouse Zinaida Pevzner; his child Ilya; his parents, Aizik Pevzner and Tcyla Pevzner (Glushec); and his brothers, Simon Pevzner (Nellie) and Boris.
He is survived by: his daughter Sofia German (Barry); his grandchildren, Daniil German (Rita), Igor German (Marisa), Slava Pevzner (Devin) and Dima Pevzner; and his great grandchildren, Isabella, Ilyana, Jonah, Mila, Avi, Ian, Ziggy, Shayna and River. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
