It is with sadness that the passing of Bernard Goldberg of Northbrook, Illinois is shared. Bernard, born on July 23, 1928, passed away on July 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Theodora "Teddie" Goldberg; his son Michael Jay Goldberg; his parents, Carl Goldberg and Belle Goldberg; his parents-in-law, Albert and Mary Greenstein; and his siblings, Elmer Goldberg (late Shirley) and Ethel Bodenstein (late Sam).

He is survived by: his children, Barbara Stern (Marty) and Lee Scott Goldberg (David Hayashi); his grandchildren, Meredith Manes (Steve), Amanda Stern (Jared Holzman) and Marissa Baras (Jeremy); and his great grandchildren, Isabella, Tyler, Bridget, Cooper, Oliver, Talia and Mackenzie.

In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the American Heart Association, http://www.heart.org. or to a charity of your choice.
