He is survived by: his children, Leonid Chernyak (Yelena) and Irina Chernyak (Antanas Svalbonas); his grandchildren, Vitaliy Chernyak, Dima (Jane) and Daniel Svalbonas; his great grandchildren, Maks, Davy, Ray and Stephanie; and his brother Michael Chernyak.
