He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel P. Brown and Myrtle Brown. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Fitzpatrick (Kevin) and Daniel Patrick Brown III (Erin); his grandchildren, Cora Fitzpatrick, Brynn Fitzpatrick and Shea Brown; his girlfriend Marina Nisenboim; his girlfriend's children, Julian and Gabrielle; and his siblings, Dennis Brown (Kathy), Patrick Brown (Donna) and Mary Jo Konzal (Tom). He is also survived by nephews, extended family, and his many friends.
He was also the founder and President of Consul-Tech Concepts, his design and engineering consultancy, and co-founded InstaShield USA with his son in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
