He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel P. Brown and Myrtle Brown. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Fitzpatrick (Kevin) and Daniel Patrick Brown III (Erin); his grandchildren, Cora Fitzpatrick, Brynn Fitzpatrick and Shea Brown; his girlfriend Marina Nisenboim; his girlfriend's children, Julian and Gabrielle; and his siblings, Dennis Brown (Kathy), Patrick Brown (Donna) and Mary Jo Konzal (Tom). He is also survived by nephews, extended family, and his many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the N. H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home (1240 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Alice Millar Chapel of Northwestern University (1870 Sheridan Rd, Evanston, IL 60208). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the You Must Park. He was also the founder and President of Consul-Tech Concepts, his design and engineering consultancy, and co-founded InstaShield USA with his son in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
