He was predeceased by : his spouse Rollie Ackerman, MD; and his parents, Samuel and Goldie. He is survived by : his sons, Adam (Desi), Brian (Jennifer) and Craig (Stephanne); his grandchildren, Asra, Zoe and Marlie; and his siblings, Marcia (late Uri), Ruth (Jonathan), Jacky (Ted), David, Michael (Shira), Joel (Trish), Jeremy (Merle) and Rivka (Laurence).
