She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Joseph and Bernice Elizabeth; and her son Daniel Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Tom Murphy; her children, Linda Wand (Tim), Elizabeth Murphy and John Murphy (Kerri); her grandchildren, Katie, Sean, Nicole, Ryan, Diane, Edward, Timothy, Heather, Luke, Allissa, Ashley, Thomas and Kenneth; her great grandchildren, Jayce, Isabella, Bryson, Caleb, Finn, Olivia, Aria, Daniel and Jaxxon; and her sister Linda Sutton (Edward).

Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Norbert and Our Lady of the Brook Parish (1809 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
