He is survived by: his wife Teresa "Tracy" Nelson; his children, Kitty Pesetsky (Joe Pesetsky), Erich Nelson, Kimberly Nelson (Kurt Matsen), Lauren Nelson (Charles Festa), Kelly Giarelli (Matthew Giarelli) and Gunnar Nelson; his grandchildren, Christian Pesetsky, Mia Pesetsky, Florentino Festa and Sonora Festa; his great grandchild Gabriel Anguiano; and his sisters, Suzanne Cronin (James Cronin) and Jane Elrod (Michael Elrod).
