He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Lucille; his sister Beverly Griesemer; his parents-in-law, Edward and Marion Ciechanowski; and his sister-in-law Janice Beaton.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Ciechanowski; his children, Shannon Carstens (Shawn) and Andy Griesemer (Becky); his grandchildren, Maxwell Carstens, Cameron and Luke Griesemer; and his sister Arleen Faeth (Loren).
