She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Goldstein; and her brother-in-law Jacob Adams. She is survived by: her friend Marci; her significant other David Adams; her sons, Simon Adams and Frederick "Freddy" Adams; her mother JoAnn Feldman Goldstein; her parents-in-law, Phyllis Adams and Leonard Adams; her brother Mark Goldstein; her siblings-in-law, Patti Goldstein, Bruce Adams, Eve Becker and Heather Adams; her nieces, Bella Goldstein, Hannah Adams and Sasha Adams; and her friend Pam Burkman.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Makom Solel Lakeside (1301 Clavey Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035). A shiva was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marci's memory may be made to On Your Feet Foundation, onyourfeetfoundation.org, which supports birthmothers after placement of their children through adoption, or to Susan G. Komen, komen.org, which invests in research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
