It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariya Bukhman (Northbrook, Illinois), who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Semen Bukhman; her sons, Michael Bookman (late Anna) and David Bukhman (Svetlana); her grandchildren, Artem, Euge, Dani (Anna) and Anna Schneiderman (Alexander); her great grandchildren, Eden, Liya, Yuval, Mihal and Adam; and her brother Emanuel Gershteyn.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial (3100 Shermer Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the same location.
