She was predeceased by: her husband Donald A. Simmons; her parents, George Leftheris and Lorraine Leftheris; and her sister Mary Bettinger. She is survived by: her sons, John B. Simmons of Phoenix, Arizona, Michael D. Simmons of Buffalo Grove, Illinois and Mark R. Simmons (Karen) of Grayslake, Illinois..
