Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Richard leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his spouses, Phyllis Nehls (Chi-Chi) and Monasteri; and his parents, Richard Nehls and Rena Nehls. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Gantz (Christopher) and Judie Taki (Bill); his grandsons, Andrew (Britni), John, Kevin Gantz, Billy and Matthew Taki; and his siblings, Fred Nehls (Nancy), Shirley Wennerstrom (late Russ) and Barbara Endres (Joe).
