He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Gutman and Susan Gutman; and his brother Michael (Marilyn). He is survived by: his wife Simone Gutman; his daughters, Josie (Chris) and Nancy (Patrick); his grandchildren, Nicholas (Torie), Sarah, Katie (Brian), Danielle (Riaz) and Anna; and his great grandchildren, Zoe (Nick) and Brady (Katie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
