We are sad to announce that, on August 1, 2025, at the age of 92, Vladimir Khananayev (Northbrook, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Vladimir departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Vladimir. Though Vladimir may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Galina; his children, Grigory Khananayev (Mary), Roman Borochin, Marina Khananayev (Edward Rudakov) and Sofia Khananayev; and his sister Nadia Khananayev.
