He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Garcia and Maria Dolores Ariciga; and his siblings, Angelina, Alphonso, Jose and Abigail.
He is survived by: his wife Mariana Garcia; his sons, Douglas Garcia (Victoria) and Freddy Merchan (Silvia); his grandchildren, Ayanna, Cynthia and Jordan; his great grandchild Alaia Holmes; his siblings, Guadalupe, Miguel and Gudmaro; and his pet Star Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
