She was predeceased by: her husband George Birkhahn; her brother Norman Schroeder (late Peggy); and her parents, Walter and Esther. She is survived by: her son Kurt Birkhahn (Christienne); her grandchild Kade Birkhahn; and her nephew Craig Schroeder.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (505 S Park Rd, La Grange, IL 60525). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery (505 S Park Rd, La Grange, IL 60525).
