We announce the death of Mei H. Lin in Oak Brook, Illinois, who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 82. Mei will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wen-Wong Chao and Pi-Tao Yang. She is survived by: her husband Cheng H. Lin; her children, Diana, Julia and Philip; her siblings, Soga, Toshi, Linda and Su Mei; and her granddaughters, Penelope, Elise and Quinn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Knollcrest Funeral Home (1500 S Meyers Rd, Lombard, IL 60148). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:30 PM at 665 Pasquinelli Dr, Westmont, IL 60559.
