He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Jo Young; his daughters, Sharon Andersohn (Scott), Kathryn Young and Mary Young; his siblings, Janet Corso (late Andrew), Peter J. Young (late Kathleen) and Helen Schuler (late Walter); and his parents, Peter Young and Helen Young.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brady-Gill Funeral Home (16600 Oak Park Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Damian Catholic Church (5250 155th St, Oak Forest, IL 60452).
