He was predeceased by : his brother Garry Martycz (Serena); and his parents, Peter Martycz and Jennie Martycz. He is survived by : his wife Adrienne Martycz; his children, Randi Koch (Craig), Kari Kackys (Marty) and Katie Rettke (Eric); his grandchildren, Colin, Charlotte, Cami, Ethan, Eli and Emma; and his sisters, Marilynn Ganta (Bob) and Debbie Babich (Larry).
