She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Imburgia and Carmella Imburgia (Finizio); and her siblings, John, Salvatore, Paul and Angeline.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa (Michael), Damian (Christine), John (Michelle), Daniel (Lori) and Marc; her grandchildren, Matthew, Nicole (Andrew), Samuel (Mauna), Magdelene, Norman, Jessica, Maxwell and Sophia; her great grandchild Audrey; and her brothers, Lawrence and Harry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKenzie Funeral Home (15618 S Cicero Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Damian Catholic Church (5250 155th St, Oak Forest, IL 60452). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery (911 North Ave, Naperville, IL 60540).
In lieu of flowers or memorials her family would request that friends and well wishes enjoy some ice cream with the ones you love, Theresa's favorite was at the Plush Horse, when you do think of her as you enjoy the treat.
