He is survived by : his children, Sharyn, Patricia, William, Joseph (Debra), Karin (Thomas), Barbra Lockett (Buford) and James (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Rita, Joanne, Nicole, Carolyn, Ashley, Jessica, Megan, Chuck, Michael, Shane, Brittany, Brendan, Alyssa, Reagan and Brenda; his great grandchildren, Kurt, Selena, Roberto, Siane, Audrey, Michael, Natalie, Ethan, Ava, Aislinn, Zaira, Miles and Saffiya; and his siblings, Scotty, Mary, Peter and Rose. He is also survived by many friends and family.
