He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Ann Strom and Leo W. Mahon; and his siblings, Robert Mahon (Katie) and Marilyn. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen Aguilar, Sherry Mahon (Debbie Rockford) and Thomas Bly; and his close friend Robert Kuenster.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home (5570 W 95th St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Linus Church (5570 W 95th St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453).
