He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee; his children, Jane Colianne (Michael), Hugh Jr. Hamill (Regina), Patricia Nilles (John) and Dawn Luna (Mario); James Hamill, John Hamill (Dorothy), Mary Hickey (George) and Patrick Hamill (Margaret).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blake Lamb Funeral Home (4727 W 103rd St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Linus Church (10300 Lawler Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
