With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John H. Sharkey Jr. (Oak Lawn, Illinois), who passed away on January 25, 2026 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John; his brother Bob Lampley; his nephew Adam Lamb; and his great-nephew Jacob Lamb. He is survived by: his pet Dunkin; his siblings, Julie Dinkins (Bob) of Momence, Illinois, Tony Lampley (Debbie) of Momence and Jim Lampley (Deb) of Bourbonnais, Illinois; and his close friends, Hunter B. Lyon of Chicago, Stephen Bratton of Naperville, Illinois and Juan Hernandez of Beecher, Illinois.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
