Loretta leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Loretta’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Loretta will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Malzone and Mary Malzone; and her husband Gordon Groebe. She is survived by: her brother Paul (Pepper). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and their families; her stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and many loving cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blake Lamb Funeral Home (4727 W 103rd St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A prayer was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Germaine Catholic Church (9711 S Kolin Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453).
