We are sad to announce that, on January 5, 2026, at the age of 101, Loretta A. Gotfryd of Oak Lawn, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward J. Gotfryd; her parents, Anthony Burek and Mary Burek; and her siblings, Anthony Burek, Frank Burek (late Albina), Anna Matuch (late Chuck), Antoinette Kowalkowski (late Frank), Mary Gulik (late Ted), Alice Zabilka (late Jerome) and Helen Burek.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Diana Baird), Michael (Joan Panick) and Maria Gotfryd; her grandson Matthew (Brianne Fife); her great grandchild Camille; and her sister Teresa Griseto (late Richard).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Shriners Hospital or American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association would be appreciated.
