He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Patricia; his children, Danny Knize and Marti Anne LaHood; his grandchildren, Carter, Nathan, Casey and Ellie; his siblings, Michael Knize (Kim), Theresa Schmelzle (Carl) and Matthew Knize (Carolyn); and his sisters-in-law, Susan Dyer (Dwain), Nancy Helme (Robert) and Julie Kane (Shawn).
