It is with sadness that the passing of Paul E. Marietta of Oak Lawn, Illinois is shared. Paul, born on April 21, 1939, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Paul will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Paul is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Paul’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Marietta and Era Marietta; and his sisters, Mary Toone (late Laverne) and Laura Powell. He is survived by: his spouse Jean; and his children, Angela McGovern (James) and Scott Marietta.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Curley Funeral Home (6116 W 111th St, Chicago Ridge, IL 60415). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
