Stamatis Galanes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stamatis Galanes (Oak Lawn, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Stamatis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Stamatis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen Galanes; his children, Tanya Galanes and Leo Galanes; and his grandchildren, Stamatios, Xeni and Theodore Galanes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Oak Lawn, IL appreciated.
