It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A. Guilfoyle of Oak Park, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Barclay "Barry" Kilgour and Frances Kilgour (Kuryla); her parents-in-law, Lawrence and Marguerite Guilfoyle; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Guilfoyle and David Cusick.

She is survived by : her husband Michael Guilfoyle of Mendota; her children, Kati Stevenson (Tyler) of Mendota and Kris Guilfoyle (Ashli) of San Clemente, CA; her grandsons, Gavin and Connor Stevenson of Mendota; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Cusick (Guilfoyle) of Barron, WI and Gretchen Hagen (Tom Guilfoyle) of Columbia, MO..

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (1010 Jefferson St, Mendota, IL 61342). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mendota Civic Center (1901 Tom Merwin Dr, Mendota, IL 61342).

Memorials may be directed to the Mendota Area Christian Food Pantry, Mendota Area Senior Services, or the Alzheimer's Association.
