It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ballinger of Oak Park, Illinois, born in Miami, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her sister Geneva Weitzenhoffer; her nephew Mark Weitzenhoffer; and her parents, Harry C. Ballinger and Doris L. Ballinger. She is survived by : her niece Janet Laxalt; her great-nephews, David Weitzenhoffer (Stephanie Plancich) and Wesley Weitzenhoffer (Desirée); her great-niece Michelle Strahl (Chris); and also, Carson, Remy and Beverly Weitzenhoffer Jackson (Leon).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake St, Oak Park, IL 60301, https://www.oppl.org, in her memory.
