She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Helfer; her daughters, Penny Helfer and Marcia Helfer; and her sibling Marion Diamond (Roy). She is survived by: her son Scott Helfer (Nancy); her grandchildren, Jennifer Helfer (Ted Harris) and Bradley Helfer; and her sisters, Bernice Rovner (Bob) and Vivian Stoleman (Marman). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oak Park Temple (1235 N Harlem Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302). A reception will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
