The passing of Janice E. Peacock of Oak Park, Illinois, born in Cleveland, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Robert Halloran and Eva Halloran (Schmitz); her husband Howard Peacock; and her daughter Valerie. She is survived by: her children, Duane Peacock, Nadine Peacock (Robert) and Renee Stewart (Andre); her grandsons, Nathan Bailey (Alia), Alex Bailey, Ryan Stewart (Rosie) and Cameron Stewart (Maya); and her great grandchild Violet. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear family friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Peterson-Bassi Chapels (6938 W North Ave, Chicago, IL 60707). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
