He was predeceased by: his close friend Christine Conti; his son-in-law David LaLonde; his parents, Lloyd John and Pearl Tuttle; and his brother George Tuttle.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Schaefer (Steve), Kathy Kelly (William), Gary Carpenter, Brian Carpenter (Cindy), Jill Carstens (Thomas) and Jamie LaLonde (late David); his friend Barbara Grassini (Charles); his grandchildren, Stephanie Kreidler (Dale), Marc, Nicole, Ashley, Liam, Lauren, Michael, Michelle Grice (Roy), Korina, Britney, Brandon, Hailey, Alexandra and Jack; his children, Jules and Kaitlin; and his former spouses, Lloyd, Chris, Candy and Lisa.
