He was predeceased by: his parent Amo Cappelli. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Cappelli; his wife Liza; his daughters, Laura and Evelyn; and his siblings, Jeff, Kristin (Nevin Hedlund), Jenny (Douglas Tello), Greg (Mary) and Sarah.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (611 Randolph St, Oak Park, IL 60302). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
