It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matthew Robert Hoovey of Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on July 23, 2022, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Dale Hoovey and Patti Hoovey; his sisters, Emily Lovaasen (Ben) and Kristin Engle (Brandon); and his nieces and nephews, Caleb, Joshua, Rebekah Lovaasen, Camden and Cora Engle.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross Lutheran School.
