It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Mott of Oak Park, Illinois, born in Neenah, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 13, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schneider and Sarah Schneider (Becker); her sister Mary Jo Schneider; her brother-in-law Richard Unser; and her great-nephew Michael Unser.

She is survived by: her sister Sarah Unser; and her nieces and nephews, Rick Unser (Brenda), Tammi Unser, Robert Unser (Rosemary) and Terri Unser.

“So sorry to hear about Ruth's passing. I went to Wesley School of Nursing when Ruth was a Manager and then had the honor of working with her for many years at Prentice until she retired. We had so many good times together working on the Wesley Passavant Alumni Association and then after we both retired, running into each other at the River Forest Jewel. She will be missed!”

“Ruth lived just down the hall from my husband and me in our condo building and her solid character was always a comfort. Her impressive career as a nurse was admired by all. Not one to sit back after retirement, she took on the responsible task of treasurer for the condo association. We were in good hands. But she wasn't all business. She had a twinkle in her eye and a girlish twirl to her ponytail, not mention a kind word for all. We will all miss her very much. Hollis & Marty Bernstein”
