She is survived by : her husband Gysbert Menninga (Gy); her children, Beth (Chris Leroux), Bert (Francisco Ballesteros), Nick (Nancy Fong) and Charles; her grandchildren, Alizarin, Thalo and Haskell Menninga; her children, Isabelle Leroux-Jones (Mauss Jones) and Owen Boone; her brothers, Bruce Nikkel (Joyce) and Nelson Nikkel (Norma); and her friend Jan Monsma (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and in-laws and dear friends.
