He is survived by: his close friend Maureen Wallace; his grandchildren, Emma Jazwiec and Lincoln Jazwiec; his siblings, David Freel and Bernadette Gillette; his nieces and nephews, Margaret "Maggie" Broomfield (Michael), Finn Gillette and Brianna Freel; and his aunt Kathleen Keane (late Thomas). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
