He was predeceased by: his parents, Chi Cheong and Yuen Ying; and his sibling Sau Hing. He is survived by: his children, Gigi Ip McGovern (David) and Chin-Chin Minniear; his grandchildren, Madeleine, Jacqueline McGovern, Jedidiah and Joelle Minniear; and his sibling Kam Chuen.
