With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Scala (Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Scala and Marie Scala (Pacente). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Scala (Dunn); his children, Dr. John Scala (Emi) of Denver, CO, Joanne Biagini (Sean) of Wheaton, IL and Joy Markee (JJ) of Lake Bluff, IL; his granddaughters, Marie and Erika Scala; his children, Ava, Will Biagini, Sarah, Adrienne and Charlie Markee; his cousins, Lana Ognibene (Gene) and Marlene Senatore (Peter); and his siblings-in-law, Geri DeMuro (Mike), Carolyn Dunn and John Dunn (Michael Fields).
