It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph C. Cucchiara (Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Sandra Cucchiara; his parents, Charles Cucchiara and Minette Allegretti; his sister Catherine Lynch; and his nephew Joseph Lytle.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Wilkin; his daughters, Danielle Lamberti (Steve) and Brittany Perris (Alex); his stepdaughters, Amy Shoemaker (Ryan) and Alisa Wilkin (Ivan Golden); his sister Rita Lytle (Jim); his nephews, Jim Lytle and Michael Lynch; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Gavin, Brenna, Adonis, Penny, Jackson, Zach, Alexandra and Frankie; Joe.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Joe's memory to Shriners Children's Hospital, honoring a cause close to his heart.
