She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Swan and Lillian Swan; and her husband Alberto S. Cavazos. She is survived by: her siblings, Michael and Marie Swan; her children, Darlene Hollis (Roy), Albert (Joan), Kathy Cavazos-Lee (Daniel), Michael, Robert (Donna), Paul (Sarah) and Brian (Gina); her grandchildren, Roy Jr., Jennifer, Anthony (Laura), Gina, Adam (Michelle), Michael Jr., Joshua (Myriam), Tyler (Samantha), Amber (Iy), Ryan (Sarah), Matthew, Stephanie, Kevin and Joey (Bella); and her great grandchildren, Sterling, Maverick, Olivia, Kaleigh, Stefen, Myles, Mindy, Andy, Sammy and Rayce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Gardens Funeral Home (17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181).
