We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2026, at the age of 75, Sharon L. Micek (Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Sharon's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sharon has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald; her parents, John Bottelsen and Hala Ruth Bottelsen; and her brother Douglas Bottelsen (Barbara). She is survived by: her children, Andrea Duncan and Mark; her grandchildren, Alysandria Duncan and Hala Duncan; and her sibling Jonie Fay Anderson (Bob).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home (17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
