He was predeceased by: his parents, Armin and Gertrude; and his siblings, Armin (late Cathy) and Carol Alexander (late Donald). He is survived by: his children, Erica Ciro (Tony) and John; his grandchildren, Hannah (Stephen Thompson) and Will Ciro; and his sister Phyllis Drska (late Robert).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Downers Grove (5211 Carpenter St, Downers Grove, IL 60515). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home (17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181).
