With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ronald W. Moore of Oakdale, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ronald left this world on July 7, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Moore and Marybelle Moore (Kirkland); his wife Lucretia A. Moore; his granddaughter Chelsea Poe; and his sons-in-law, Steve Poe and Chris Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Moore (Barb) of Nashville, IL, Cheryl Poe of DuQuoin, IL, Jason Moore (Janine) of Oakdale, IL, Michael Sean Moore (Jessica) of Oakdale, IL and Nicole Cox of Oakdale, IL; his grandchildren, Ryan Reel (Lindsay), Sean Reel (Christi), Lucrista "Annie" Daniels (Shawn), Autumn Richards and Tiffani Poe (Daniel Maddox); his great grandchildren, Everett James Maddox, Elsie Maddox, Isla Maddox, Teddy Poe, Isabella Schiebe, Keegan Reel, Gavin Reel, Seth Daniels and Keagin Daniels; and his nephew Jake Lusby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Oakdale Village Hall (75 N Weigh St, Oakdale, IL 62268).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oakdale Grade School.
