She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner G. Stokes and Esther J. Stokes (Rosemeyer); her husband Homer J. Skortz; and her sister Gloria Hall. She is survived by: her children, Steve G. Skortz of Oakdale, IL, Jeannie Braun (Tony) of Oakdale, IL, Joseph W. Skortz (Lisa) of Belleville, IL and Debbie M. Rushing; and her sister Dana Hackbarth. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
